Tso Moriri Lake
Tso Moriri Lake is the largest lake in Ladakh. It’s a gorgeous turquoise-colored lake surrounded by mountain peaks and high above the city of Leh. The lake sits at an altitude of about 4,500 meters and has an area of about 18 square kilometers .
The area surrounding the lake is called Tsomoriri, which means “lake colored like a blue-green gemstone.” The area around this beautiful body of water has been traditionally used by people who live there for centuries as a source for their daily needs: agriculture, livestock farming and trade. However, now the tourism has become more popular in Ladakh it also offers visitors many opportunities to explore its natural beauty through hiking trails or even horseback riding trips!
Shanti Stupa : one of famous tourist places in Ladakh
Shanti Stupa is a Buddhist monument and prayer hall located in Leh, Ladakh. It was inaugurated in 1991 ,then current Dalai Lama.The stupa has been constructed on top of the hillock with its base surrounded by beautiful gardens which are maintained well by local people.
The structure itself is made up of three parts: A central dome-like roof supported by four pillars; an octagonal terrace at ground level; and two towers flanking it on either side which run all along its length along with another set of smaller spires that extend upwards from where they meet at an opening above them (known as a “mashrabiya”). Magnetic Hill is a gravity hill located near Leh in Ladakh. The car seems to roll uphill on its way up, but when you get out of it, you will find yourself walking downhill! It’s a popular tourist attraction with many visitors from all over the world.

Pangong Tso is a salt lake and is the second-largest lake in India. It is located on the eastern side of Ladakh, with an area of 134km long and 5 km wide. The average depth at its deepest point is 100 meters but can reach up to more than 100 meters if there are strong winds blowing across it from all directions!

Namgyal Tsemo Monastery
Namgyal Tsemo Monastery is situated in Leh and is the largest monastery in Ladakh. It was built by King of Ladakh, Tashi Namgyal .The main building contains an assembly hall, which can accommodate up to 1,000 people; two chapels; two storerooms; four monastic cells; two dormitories for laypeople; and a kitchen. The Namgyal Tsemo Monastery also houses a library that contains images of Buddha as well as commentaries on Buddhist texts.
Gurudwara Pathar Sahib
