The palace is located inside the Chittorgarh fort. Rana Kumbha was a great Rajput ruler. He’s famous for his military campaigns against various sultanates. Rajput King Rana Kumbha lived in this Palace and spent his Royal Life. You will see Lord Shiva’s temple near this Palace.

The palace of Rani Padmini is located in the southern part of Chittorgarh fort. In this Palace, Queen Padmini married King Rawal Ratan Singh. Also, in this Palace, Queen Padmini sacrificed her life when Sultan Alauddin Khilji attacked Chittorgarh. It is said that here Alauddin Khalji had a glimpse of Padmini’s legendary beauty through a mirror. Padmini’s Palace finds its mention in several historical texts of Mewar.

The stambha is located in the Chittorgarh fort. Vijay stambha was built by Rana Kumbha to commemorate his victory over the sultans of Malwa and Gujarat. We also call this place “Victory Tower.” King Rana Kumbha built this tower in 1448. The amazing fact about this Tower is it soo tall and huge that you can see the whole city from it. It’s also one of the famous places in Chittorgarh.

5. Kirti stambh (Attractions in Chittorgarh)

The stambha is situated inside the chittor Fort.  It was constructed in the 12th century. This Stambh was 22 meters high. Kirti stambha is one of the best places to visit in Chittorgarh.This seven-story tower houses a five-foot-tall statue of the Rishabha. This Solanki-style fort is nestled within the Chittorgarh fort. There is a narrow stairway that leads to the top of the seven storeys. An observation hall on the top floor provides a panoramic view of Chittorgarh.

The temple is situated inside the Fort of Chittorgarh.  Meera bai is famous as a devotee of Lord Krishna. This temple is dedicated to Mira Bai, a Rajput Princess. When you enter this temple, you will feel wonderful peace and happiness. The temple, which is housed within Chittorgarh Fort and features Indo-Aryan architecture, has several intricately carved idols that adorn its sanctum sanctorum.

 The temple is also famous in Chittorgarh. The temple is dedicated to the goddess Durga. This temple was built in the Prathira style. The magnificent idol in this temple attracts devotees and tourists. The temple features three goddess images: Kalika Mata in the center, Kali on the right, and Bahucharamata on the left.

The palace is located inside the Chittorgarh fort. It’s also one of the famous attractions inside the fort. Rataneshwar Lake, situated inside the Palace, attracts most tourists. This Palace showcases the Traditional Rajasthani style of architecture. 

The journey to the palace is epic. The entrance to the palace faces east. It’s a massive structure with a soaring archway and chattris on top. The Ratneswar Mahadeva Temple is located on the northern side of the entrance.

9. Gaumukh water reservoir

It’s an important water reservoir of Chittorgarh. 2nd name for this place is “Tirtharaj Of Chittorgarh”. It was the pilgrimage site for Hindus. Must visit this Devine place. The Gaumukh Reservoir, one of the most important water tanks in the Chittorgarh Fort, is a sacred site in Hinduism, so much so that a tour of sacred Hindu pilgrimage sites is considered incomplete without a visit to this reservoir. Water from a natural spring flows continuously into the reservoir from the “cow mouth.”
