7. Purana Quila: one of the oldest historical places in Delhi

The site has been continuously inhabited for 2,500 years and remains to date from the pre-Mauryan period have been found. Purana Quila or old fort Delhi was built in 1538 by Sher shah.

11. Agrasen ki baoli

It’s a stepwell, located near the Jantar Mantar, Connaught Place. There are no historical records of who made this baoli but the current architectural style is the Persian style of architecture.

Agrasen ki baoli got famous when the scenes of Bollywood movies like PK, and Sultan were filmed here.

12. Rajghat Delhi

Rajghat is a memorial place dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi. Here, Mahatma Gandhi was cremated.
